Delhi Airport Travel Advisory: According to the advisory issued by Air India, the airline has asked passengers to reach Delhi airport at least 3.5 hours prior to domestic departures and 4 hours before their international flight departure times.
Delhi Airport Travel Advisory: Aviation companies such as Air India and IndiGo have issued a new travel advisory for passengers of Delhi Airport. In the advisory, the airline companies urged passengers to reach Delhi airport at least 3.5 - 4 hours prior to their flight departures.
The reason behind this, according to the companies, is the rush and hassle at the airport. Both companies noted that Delhi airports are witnessing more passenger movement than usual, resulting in longer boarding and check-in time.
According to the advisory issued by Air India, the airline has asked passengers to reach Delhi airport at least 3.5 hours prior to domestic departures and 4 hours before their international flight departure times for faster movement at the Airport.
The company took the microblogging site to make the announcement.

Whereas according to the advisory issued by IndiGo, passengers are requested to reach the airport at least 3.5 hrs prior to domestic departure.

Luggage Advise
Both aviation companies requested passengers to carry only one piece of cabin luggage for seamless security checks.
However, IndiGo additionally requested that the weight of the hand baggage should not be more than 7 kg.
"Please use gate numbers 5 and 6 for entry at Delhi Aiport, Terminal 3, as these are nearest to the IndiGo check-in counters," IndiGo said in the advisory.
Web Check-in
The companies also requested passengers to complete web check-in as this will add additional convenience.

"We request our passenger to complete web check-in for faster movement at the airport," Air India advisory said.
Likewise IndiGo also said, "Please ensure that you complete your web check-in, for added convenience."
