<p>A new air connectivity link between two major economic regions of India was launched on June 16, 2026, with the commencement of daily direct flights between Navi Mumbai International Airport and Noida International Airport, strengthening aviation access between the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and the National Capital Region (NCR).</p>
<p>The inaugural service was operated by Akasa Air. The inaugural flight QP 2017 departed Navi Mumbai at 07:25 hrs and arrived at Noida at 09:35 hrs, while the return flight QP 2018 departed Noida at 10:15 hrs and arrived at Navi Mumbai at 12:30 hrs, marking the start of daily non-stop operations on the route.</p>
<p>The new air corridor is expected to improve connectivity between western and northern India by linking Navi Mumbai’s emerging aviation and commercial hub with Noida’s rapidly growing industrial and business ecosystem. The route is expected to facilitate faster movement of entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, and travellers across both regions.</p>
<p>NMIAL spokesperson said: “With both airports positioned as next-generation infrastructure assets, the new daily service reinforces India’s expanding aviation network and supports the broader objective of building efficient, multimodal and business-friendly connectivity between major urban growth centres.”</p>
<p>The development also comes shortly after Navi Mumbai International Airport was named among the Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026, alongside airports in Guangzhou, Frankfurt, Cambodia, Pittsburgh, and San Diego.</p>
<h2><strong>Additional connectivity from Noida</strong></h2>
<p>Alongside the NCR–MMR route, Akasa Air also launched Bengaluru services from Noida International Airport:</p>
