What Happened?
On Monday, January 27, an Air India flight, AI 2957, took off from Delhi's IGI Airport at 8:40 pm. Shortly after takeoff, the air traffic controller began receiving a hijack signal from the pilot. The signal continued to reach ATC, raising alarms. The flight was carrying 126 passengers.

Once the hijack signal was received, ATC immediately alerted all relevant security agencies, in accordance with protocol. CISF and the National Security Guard (NSG) were deployed to Mumbai Airport.
Alarm Triggered by Mistake
