A Singapore Airlines flight last week became the longest flight across the world. The recently started world’s longest direct flight service was between Singapore and New York and it covered the 9,000 nautical miles (9,537 miles) distance in a whopping 17 hours and 25 minutes. Let us have a look at some of the longest commercial ultra-long-haul flights, which most industry experts define as any flight over 8,000 miles (12,800 km) one way, operational today, according to Economic Times.
