Vodafone Idea Q4 Results: Vodafone Idea on Saturday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 51,970 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, aided by a one-time accounting gain arising from the reassessment of adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues and recognition of the present value of future AGR payments.
The telecom operator had posted a net loss of Rs 7,166 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 11,332 crore, up 3 per cent from Rs 11,017 crore reported in Q4FY25, according to the company’s exchange filing.
Quarterly EBITDA came in at Rs 4,889 crore, registering a 4.9 per cent year-on-year increase, while operational metrics also improved during the period.
Average revenue per user (ARPU) rose to Rs 190 in Q4FY26 from Rs 175 a year ago, reflecting an 8.3 per cent growth. The company said this remained the highest ARPU in the industry.
The company’s 4G/5G subscriber base increased to 128.9 million during the quarter, compared with 126.4 million in Q4FY25.
During the quarter, the board approved the issuance of fully convertible warrants worth Rs 4,730 crore, or about $500 million, to an Aditya Birla Group promoter entity on a preferential basis.
The company said each warrant would be convertible into one fully paid-up equity share.
For the full financial year FY26, Vodafone Idea reported revenue of Rs 44,873 crore, up 3 per cent from FY25. Annual EBITDA stood at Rs 19,003 crore against Rs 18,127 crore in the previous fiscal, marking a 4.8 per cent increase.
During the year, the telecom operator launched 5G services across 83 cities and expanded its 4G coverage by 48 million people, taking overall coverage to more than 86 per cent of the population.
The company also said its 4G data capacity increased by over 12 per cent year-on-year.
Total unique broadband towers stood at 202,008 at the end of FY26, with the addition of more than 17,300 towers during the year.
Abhijit Kishore said the benefits of the company’s capex investments and network rollout are now becoming clearly visible.
He added that Q4FY26 marked a decisive step forward for the telecom operator, with all seven key performance parameters showing sequential improvement.
Kishore further said subscriber additions turned net positive from February 2026, describing it as a significant milestone driven by sustained network investments.
