Vishal Mega Mart: Vishal Mega Mart reported a 45.9 per cent year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 168 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared with Rs 115 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 22.2 per cent to Rs 3,114 crore during the quarter, against Rs 2,548 crore reported a year ago.
The value retail chain also posted healthy operational growth during the quarter. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 18.9 per cent to Rs 425 crore in Q4FY26 from Rs 357 crore in the year-ago period.
However, EBITDA margin contracted marginally to 13.6 per cent compared with 14 per cent in the corresponding quarter last year, indicating pressure from higher operating expenses and expansion-related costs.
Shares of the retailer were trading at Rs 115.50, down 3.35 per cent or 4 points at around 1:28 pm.
