RVNL Q4 FY25 Results: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), a Navratna public sector enterprise, on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 459 crore for the quarter ended March 31, a 4.2 per cent decline compared with the corresponding period a year ago.
Its quarterly revenue contracted to Rs 6,427 crore from Rs 6,714 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.
The state-run company's margin, a key measure of profitability, largely remained steady at 6.77 per cent, as against 6.80 per cent a year ago.
Its total expenses declined 4.6 per cent to Rs 6,120 crore, according to the filing.
RVNL announced a dividend of Rs 1.72 per equity share, a 17.2 per cent payout given the face value of Rs 10 per equity share.
Earlier on Wednesday, RVNL shares ended 0.7 per cent lower at Rs 412.1 apiece on BSE.
RVNL shares have declined 3.5 per cent in 2025 so far, underperforming the headline Nifty 50 index's 4.5 per cent rise.
As of May 21, Rail Vikas Nigam shares have rewarded investors with a 20.8 per cent return in a year while the Nifty has gained 10.1 per cent.
