As of now, only one company in every 100 has reported its financial results this earnings season.

Last week, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country's largest IT firm and the second largest firm overall in market value, kicked off the earnings season for India Inc by reporting its financial results for the second quarter of the current financial year (Q2 of FY25).

TCS staged a mixed quarterly performance with its profit, margin and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) falling short of Street expectations though its revenue, both in rupee and dollar terms, met the mark.

The country's second largest IT firm, Infosys is scheduled to report its financial results for the period on October 17.
