HAL Dividend 2026 Alert: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced that its Board of Directors will meet on Monday, June 29, 2026, to consider and recommend the final dividend for the financial year 2025–26, according to an exchange filing under SEBI Listing Regulations.

"...this is to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting scheduled to be held on Monday, the 29th June, 2026, will consider, inter-alia, the recommendation of final dividend for the financial year 2025-26," the Indian aerospace and defence major said in its exchange filing.

In line with its insider trading policy, HAL has also closed the trading window for all insiders, including designated persons, connected persons, and their immediate relatives, with immediate effect. The window will remain closed until 48 hours after the declaration of financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026.

HAL Q4FY26 Financial Earnings

Earlier in May, HAL reported its Q4FY26 financial performance, posting steady growth in earnings. The defence PSU recorded a 5.51 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,196.04 crore, compared to Rs 3,976.63 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations also increased nearly 2 per cent YoY to Rs 13,942 crore in the January–March 2026 period, supported by continued execution of defence contracts and consistent demand from the Indian armed forces.

However, the company saw pressure on profitability at the operating level. EBITDA declined 4 per cent YoY to Rs 5,058 crore from Rs 5,294 crore, while EBITDA margin contracted to 36.3 per cent from 38.6 per cent in the corresponding quarter last year. The decline in margins was attributed to higher operational expenses.

HAL share price performance

HAL shares ended lower in Tuesday's trading session. The stock closed at Rs 4,256.45, down 0.66 per cent from its previous close. HAL shares are likely to be in focus on Wednesday's trade after the Board meeting announcement.

On a broader basis, the stock has declined 2.97 per cent over the past month and is down 3.17 per cent on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

Over the last 52 weeks, HAL shares have traded between a high of Rs 5,130.50 (on June 17, 2025) and a low of Rs 3,479.20 (on March 30, 2026), reflecting volatility in the defence stock.
