Bajaj Auto November sales decline 13%

The company said that its domestic sales dropped 12% with exports falling maximum (17%), at 97,992 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 1,39,765 units as against 1,52,663 units in the same month of last year.

Bajaj Auto on Friday said that its sales for the month of November fell 13%, at 2,69,948 units.

The company said that its domestic sales dropped 12% with exports falling maximum (17%), at 97,992 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 1,39,765 units as against 1,52,663 units in the same month of last year.

Commercial vehicles (CV) sales in the domestic market fell 25% at 14,758 units whereas exports of the same were at 17,433 as against 19,092 units in November of 2015.

On an year-to-date basis, Bajaj Auto's domestic sales have dropped 2%, CV sales are down 10% and total sales (including exports) are down 3%.

Share price of Bajaj Auto dropped 1% in pre-opening trade on NSE Nifty, at Rs 2,668 per share.
