<p>In order to provide relief to passengers traveling to Patna, the state run-carrier Air India has decided to extend concessions. Air India has stated that no penalty will be charged from passengers for cancelling tickets, changing dates, and even refunds will be cleared. This arrangement will be applicable on both domestic and international flights till 3 October 2019.</p>
<p>Air India intimated the passengers through its Twitter handle saying, "#FlyAI: Due to inclement weather at Patna resulting in inconvenience to passengers #Airindia has waived off all applicable penalties of re-issuance, date change, no-show,cancellation and refund charges for travel from/to Patna for both Dom &amp; Int flights for travel upto 3rdOct,19."<br />

The recent floods in Bihar have resulted in the death of dozens of people besides throwing normal life out of gear. Several parts of the state including capital Patna have been reeling under floods for the past few days. Due to massive water logging in residential localities of Patna, relief and rescue operations have been launched to reach out the stranded people.
