Auto Sales March 2026: Bajaj Auto total sales soar 20%

Bajaj Auto registers 20 per cent growth in its total sales to 4,45,377 units in March, as against the 3,69,823 units sold in March 2025. 

Out of those, its domestic sales are recorded at 2,66,290 units, up 20 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: JSW MG Motor India total sales up 19%

JSW MG Motor India records a 19 per cent rise in its total sales to 6,528 units in March.

It also announces a price increase of up to 2 per cent across its MG portfolio, effective immediately, citing market dynamics. The carmaker will also implement a price hike of up to 7 per cent on the MG SELECT portfolio, including flagship models such as the MG Cyberster and MG M9.

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: Ashok Leyland total sales up 5%

Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland logs total sales of 25,381 units in March, a 5 per cent rise over the year-ago period. 

In the domestic market, its sales rise 5 per cent to 23,743 units versus the 22,510 units sold a year ago.

The auto major posts total sales of 5,52,505 two-wheelers in the domestic market, up 8.3 per cent over the year-ago period. 

Its exports rise 15.6 per cent to 45,693 units.

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: Hero MotoCorp scooter sales zoom 53%

Hero MotoCorp reports total sales of 65,815 scooters in March, marking a surge of 53.2 per cent over the 42,963 units sold a year ago. 

Its motorcycle sales, however, see a modest rise of 5.1 per cent to 5,32,383 units. 

Auto Sales March 2026: Royal Enfield total sales rise 11%

Eicher Motors subsidiary Royal Enfield registers total sales of 1,12,334 units in March, marking an 11 per cent increase over the 1,01,021 motorcycles sold a year ago. 

Out of the total sales, the up to 350 cc segment -- which forms the core of the company's sales volumes -- registers totals sales of 97,933 units, a 12 per cent rise.

Total exports are down 8 per cent at 11,928 units.

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: Hero MotoCorp total sales grow 9%

Hero MotoCorp, which claims to be the world’s largest maker of motorcycles and scooters, reports total dispatches of 5,98,198 units in March as against the 5,49,604 units in March 2025. 

Its retail performance is robust with 5,42,436 Vahan registrations except Telangana, as of April 1. This marks a rise of around 24 per cent on a year-on-year basis. 

According to the auto major, the demand is led by the 100-125cc segment, with double-digit percentage growth in scooters.

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: Tata Motors domestic CV sales up 18%

Tata Motors registers total sales of 45,825 commercial vehicles in the domestic market in March, as against the 38,884 units sold a year ago. 

The Tata group auto giant says that it saw a subdued first half followed by a decisive recovery in H2 as demand conditions improved with the rollout of GST 2.0. The momentum continued in Q3 and Q4, it notes. 

The total quarterly sales volumes are the highest since Q4 FY21, according to the company. 

Auto Sales March 2026 LIVE: Force Motors domestic sales rise 14%

Force Motors registers total sales of 4,126 units in the domestic market in March 2026, up 14.4 per cent over the 3,606 units sold in March 2025.

Its exports, however, fall 22.3 per cent to 73 units versus 94 units exported a year ago. 

The company says that its volumes for the month as well as the quarter ended March 31 are impacted by the ongoing geopolitical tensions, especially in the Middle East.

Tata Motors registers total sales of 47,976 commercial vehicles in March. That marks a rise of 16.7 per cent over the 41,122 units sold in the domestic and international markets in March 2025.

For the quarter ended March 31, Tata Motors logs total sales of 1,32,465 units, a 25 per cent jump over the 1,05,643 units sold a year ago.

For the financial year 2025-26, the auto maker registers sales of 4,06,081 units -- up 20 per cent -- driven by strong market momentum.

Renault India says that its new Kiger and Triber models continue to maintain solid momentum, jointly accounting for 63 per cent of its overall March sales. 

Both models have resonated well with customers, translating into Renault India reporting cumulative growth of 27 per cent since their launch in Q2 till the end of the financial year 2025-26, according to the carmaker.

This sustained performance, it says, reflects the positive response to its renewed product strategy and its sharper premium value proposition for Indian customers. 

It also says that the later half of the month marks the beginning of the dispatch of its new Renault Duster.

Auto Sales March 2026 Expectation: Maruti Suzuki India seen clinching nearly 20% growth

According to Zee Business research, Maruti Suzuki India -- the country's largest carmaker -- is estimated to register sales of 2.3 lakh sales PVs in March 2026. That translates to a year-on-year increase of 19.8 per cent over the corresponding period a year ago, when it sold 1.92 lakh units.
