Tata Tiago EV: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited has finally launched India's cheapest electric car in the country on Wednesday, September 28. The newly launched car - Tata Tiago EV - is the electric version of the company's vehicle Tiago.
The electric hatchback is available in the Medium range and Long range.

It has 7 variants - XE MR, XT MR, XT LR, XZ + LR, XZ + Tech Lux LR, XZ+ LR (7.2 kWh) and XZ+ Tech Lux LR (7.2 kWh).

The company launched the EV at a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh. Whereas, the ex-showroom price of its top variant is Rs 11.79 lakh.

The car comes equipped with features like 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment by HARMAN, steering mounted audio, phone and voice controls, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, door open and key in reminder, cruise control, Zconnect, premium leatherette seat and much more.

Tata Tiago EV: Charging
The new Tiago EV has multiple charging options. The company claims that the battery gets charged up to 80 percent in about 57 minutes and is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 kmph in just 5.7 seconds.

Tata Tiago EV: Range
The newly launched car has a 24kWh battery pack, which is capable of delivering a range of 315 km in a single charge. Whereas the 19.2 kWh battery pack option gives a range of 250 km on a single charge.
