Tata Nexon XMA AMT gets price cut; is it for you? Check it out

Priced between Rs 7.50 lakh and Rs 8.53 lakh, Tata has launched the Nexon XMA. The price of the car depends on what variant you choose - petrol or diesel. The car was introduced in the country in May and it used to be available only in the top-spec XZA+ trim and priced from Rs 9.41 lakh for the petrol and Rs 10.39 lakh for the diesel.

The mid-spec, AMT-equipped Nexon XMA sports a six-speed automated manual transmission and the 110hp. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel powertrains have been kept intact. The gearbox of the car has a manual mode with a crawl function.

The company offers an optional new white contrast finish for the roof. The equipment kit is the same as that Tata offered in the previous version of the car. Those include ABS with EBD, wheel covers for the steel wheels, dual frontal airbags, an infotainment system by Harman with USB, Aux and Bluetooth connectivity, four speakers, steering-mounted audio controls.

Nexon XMA also packs rear parking sensors, follow-me-home headlamps, all four power windows, central locking and power-adjustable outside rear-view mirrors. Nexon XMA also sports 60:40-split folding seats.

Some of the kits that this version of Nexon misses out are  projector headlamps, daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, an automatic climate control system, the Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto compatibility and the rear wash, wiper and defogger – all of which are available on the top-spec XZA+ variant.
