KTM 250 Duke is known for its chasing thrills as it combines maximum riding exhilaration with optimum user value. Lightweight, powerful and packed with advanced technology, this KTM bike is launched with ABS to meet with new norms that require all bikes with an engine capacity of 125cc and above to have essential safety net from April 1, 2019 onwards.

KTM 250 Duke comes with a price tag of Rs 1.94 lakh, but the 250 Duke ABS variant costs Rs 13,400 more than the non-ABS variant priced at Rs 1,80,634 (ex-showroom Delhi). Image source:ktm.com

With the latest update, every model from KTM’s India lineup will now have the essential safety kit. The bike gets the same switchable dual-channel ABS setup as the larger 360 Duke. However, it doesn’t sport other ABS modes available with the larger Duke. Image source:ktm.com

According to reports, the 250 Duke harbours the features between 200 Duke and 390 Duke, having similarity in bodywork and steel trellis with 390 Duke. The 250 Duke, however, misses on LED headlamps and the full-colour TFT screen so that the prices of this bike are in check. Image source:ktm.com

Powered by a 249cc, the 250 Duke is liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that puts out 30PS at 9000rpm and 24Nm at 7500rpm of torque. The KTM 250 Duke ABS comes with 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch. Image source:ktm.com
