TVS Motor Company has reported its highest-ever annual sales, recording a 13 per cent growth in the financial year 2024-25. The company's total sales for the year reached 4.74 million units, up from 4.19 million units in FY 2023-24.
In March 2025, TVS Motor's total sales surged by 17 per cent to 414,687 units, compared to 354,592 units in March 2024. The company saw notable growth in exports, which increased by 23 per cent from 91,972 units in March 2024 to 113,464 units in March 2025.
The two-wheeler segment registered a 16 per cent growth, with sales climbing from 344,446 units in March 2024 to 400,120 units in March 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose by 14 per cent, reaching 297,622 units from 260,532 units in the previous year.
Among product categories, motorcycles witnessed a 15 per cent rise in sales, reaching 196,734 units in March 2025, up from 171,611 units in March 2024. Scooters recorded an impressive 27 per cent growth, with sales increasing from 131,472 units to 166,297 units.
The electric vehicle (EV) segment emerged as a standout performer, achieving a staggering 77 per cent growth, with sales jumping from 15,250 units in March 2024 to 26,935 units in March 2025. Additionally, the company's three-wheeler sales surged by 44 per cent, rising from 10,146 units in March 2024 to 14,567 units in March 2025.
TVS Motor's performance in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25 also remained robust. Two-wheeler sales increased by 14 per cent, reaching 1.180 million units in Q4 FY 2024-25 from 1.032 million units in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Three-wheeler sales posted a 21 per cent rise, growing from 30,000 units in Q4 FY 2023-24 to 37,000 units in Q4 FY 2024-25. The company's exports in the final quarter surged by 31 per cent, rising from 260,000 units in Q4 FY 2023-24 to 340,000 units in Q4 FY 2024-25.
For the full financial year, TVS Motor's two-wheeler sales grew by 12 per cent, increasing from 3.851 million units in FY 2023-24 to 4.330 million units in FY 2024-25.
While three-wheeler sales saw a marginal decline, registering 135,000 units in FY 2024-25 compared to 146,000 units in the previous year, the company's exports saw significant growth. Export sales rose by 18 per cent, with 1.195 million units shipped in FY 2024-25, compared to 1.013 million units in FY 2023-24.
With consistent growth across segments and strong export demand, TVS Motor Company continues to strengthen its position in the global two-wheeler and three-wheeler market.
