Triumph Tracker 400 Launched: Triumph Motorcycles on Monday, April 6, announced the launch of its all-new Tracker 400 in India in collaboration with Bajaj Auto and KTM. The motorcycle is powered by an advanced TR-series 350cc engine that produces 40 PS of power at 8,750 rpm. According to the company, this bike combines retro styling with distinctive Triumph DNA, featuring the simple aesthetics and competitive spirit synonymous with the category.

Speaking at the launch, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto, said, "The Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and the Thruxton have seen strong acceptance, expanding Triumph’s appeal to younger riders. Building on this momentum, the Tracker 400 introduces greater choice. With its stripped-back flat track attitude, it delivers more fun, more style, and a distinctly sportier ride."

According to the company, these are the key highlights of the newly launched Triumph Tracker 400:

  • The Tracker 400 features flat and wide handlebars and a repositioned footpeg arrangement for a better riding position.
  • Its design incorporates a seat cowl, number board, boxy fuel tank, fly screen and newly styled wheels, paired with MRF REVZ FD1 tyres.
  • It is available in Racing Yellow, Phantom Black and Aluminium Silver Gloss.
  • It has a tracker-style fuel tank, with its sculpted knee cut-outs, pairs with the fly screen and colour-coded seat cowl and the dual-spoke wheels.
  • As a Triumph Modern Classic, it features the signature engine profile with powder-coated covers and bright-machined cylinder head fins.
  • The number '400' in the Triumph Tracker 400 pays tribute to the legendary flat track racers.
  • The Tracker 400 has a dedicated chassis and premium suspension set-up.
  • At the front, the black anodised 43mm upside-down big piston forks offer 140mm of travel, while the rear gas monoshock RSU offers 140mm of travel with preload adjustment for pillion riding.
  • It is fitted with dual-purpose tyres with a blocky tread pattern that provide flat track style as well as road-focused grip and handling.
  • It has a seat height of 805 mm and comes with features like torque-assist clutch, switchable traction control and ABS.

On a separate note, the company recently crossed the milestone of 1 lakh motorcycles on the road. On this success, Triumph Motorcycles has also announced new prices for its existing lineup. This will help customers save up to Rs 21,500 on the road.
