Tata Tiago EV Launch: Domestic automaker Tata Motors on Wednesday launched the electric version of its vehicle Tiago. It is the company's first electric hatchback. The vehicle has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 8.49 lakh. This price, however, is for the first 10,000 customers.
"Say hello to our 1st electric hatch- Tata Tiago.ev! Introductory price starts at ₹ 8.49 Lakh* for the 1st 10,000 customers. Out of the 10,000 customers, we have reserved 2000 only for our very own EV fam!" Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited tweeted.

The newly launched vehicle is available in the Medium range and Long range. It has variants - XE MR, XT MR, XT LR, XZ + LR, XZ + Tech Lux LR, XZ+ LR (7.2 kWh) and XZ+ Tech Lux LR (7.2 kWh).
According to the official website, the Tata Tiago EV has 5 exciting colors. These are tropical mist, teal blue, daytona grey, pristine white and midnight plum.
The newly launched car has a range of 315 km in a single charge. Also, it has multiple charging options.
The car comes equipped with features like 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment by HARMAN, steering mounted audio, phone and voice controls, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, door open and key in reminder, cruise control, Zconnect, premium leatherette seat and much more.
In terms of safety, the electric hatchback gets ABS with EBD, reverse camera, dual front airbags, seat belt reminder and much more. Apart from this, the electric hatchback also gets multi-mode region braking.
