Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Launched: Royal Enfield's Flying Flea has launched its first motorcycle - the Flying Flea C6 (FF.C6) - in India on Thursday, April 9. The FF.C6 will be available from April 10 at the first Flying Flea store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Flying Flea is the new city+ electric mobility brand from Royal Enfield.
"An homage to the original Flying Flea of the 1940’s - engineered for frontline troops - the modern Flying Flea C6 is thoughtfully reinterpreted for today's rider," said the company.
The FF.C6 has a top speed of 115 km/h and over 400 Nm of torque at all four wheels, all while weighing just 124 kg. The company claims the recently launched bike delivers high acceleration while maintaining stability through lean-angle sensing ABS, traction control, and rider aids such as tip-over alert and live location sharing.
Speaking on the launch of the motorcycle, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer - Royal Enfield, said, "We are excited to introduce the Flying Flea C6, marking our first step into electric motorcycling in our 125th year - a milestone that reflects both our legacy and our intent for new beginnings. For over a century, Royal Enfield has been driven by a singular pursuit: to create pure, engaging motorcycling experiences."
"With Flying Flea, we are carrying this philosophy into the electric era. This is not just about going electric- it is about creating a new category of urban mobility that is rooted in experience, not just specifications or numbers. The FF.C6 has been built by a dedicated team with deep in-house expertise across hardware and software, resulting in an agile, design and technology-led motorcycle that feels intuitive, connected, and alive to the rider," he added.
"For the launch of FF.C6, we are taking a steady, city-by-city approach and will initially roll it out in phases. With Flying Flea, we are not just introducing a motorcycle, we are shaping the future of riding and welcoming a new generation of riders into the world of Royal Enfield. We have a strong pipeline of electric two-wheelers that will continue to build on our vision over time," he further added.
The motorcycle is powered by a 3.91 kWh battery and offers seamless connectivity via WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G, along with remote monitoring. Charging is flexible and efficient (around 1% per minute), as the company said, with options for Rapid, Standard and Trickle charging using a universal wall outlet.
Flying Flea C6 is available in two colour options: Storm Black and Flea Green.
The Flying Flea C6 is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) is also available, with a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings for the Flying Flea C6 will open on Friday, April 10 at 12 noon, while deliveries are scheduled to begin at the end of May 2026. The FF.C6 rollout will follow a phased, city-by-city approach, said the company.
