Ola Electric has officially started production of its Roadster electric motorcycles, as shared by the company’s founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, on social media. Aggarwal posted an image with the caption: “First bikes getting built in the factory today!”

Partnership with Maha Kumbh 2025
Ola recently announced its collaboration with Maha Kumbh 2025, focusing on providing a green and digital mobility experience for the world’s largest congregation of people. Leveraging its ecosystem—comprising कृत्रिम (AI services), Ola Electric, and Ola Consumer—the company aims to deliver seamless and sustainable travel solutions during the event.
Bhavish Aggarwal remarked, “Maha Kumbh 2025 is a reflection of India’s rich traditions and aspirations for a tech-driven future. We believe the intersection of AI, green mobility, and digital solutions can enhance the experience for millions of devotees.”
AI Integration
Ola’s AI arm has developed the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app, an AI-powered chatbot offering navigation assistance, cultural insights, and personalized experiences for Maha Kumbh visitors. The initiative, led by the Prayagraj Mela Authority in collaboration with UPDESCO and Samagra, supports 11 Indian languages and provides features like voice commands and media-enriched content.
Green mobility at Maha Kumbh
To support eco-friendly transportation, Ola Electric has deployed 1,000 e-scooters for pilgrims, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable mobility options. Ola Consumer has also introduced affordable transit services at airports, railway stations, and within Mela grounds, including EV shuttles for easy navigation.
This initiative reinforces Ola’s vision of integrating technology and sustainability, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward revolutionizing green and digital mobility in India.
