New Mocha Grey Interiors Reach Dealerships: MahindraThar Roxx set to phase out ivory white theme?
Mahindra Thar Roxx gets a new Mocha Grey interior, replacing the Ivory White theme. The 2025 update also brings feature additions like keyless entry, aerodynamic wipers, and a front passenger armrest.

Mahindra has quietly rolled out a new interior theme for the Thar Roxx. Called ‘Mocha Grey,’ this new look is now being spotted at dealerships and is likely to be sold alongside the existing Mocha Brown option that comes with the top-end 4x4 variants. If reports are accurate, this new interior may soon replace the earlier Ivory White theme, which was first introduced when the SUV launched on August 15, 2024.
Photos of the updated cabin have surfaced online, showing a blend of dark and light grey tones. Key areas like the seats, dashboard, armrestsand door pads now come finished in a lighter grey shade with contrast stitching. This new colour scheme is seen as more practical, especially after many buyers complained about the Ivory White version being hard to maintain.
Thar Roxx: What's new?
Along with the updated interiors, the 2025 version of the Thar Roxx also comes with a few feature additions. It now gets keyless entry, which wasn’t available before, along with a front passenger armrest and new aerodynamic wipers designed to reduce wind noise inside the cabin.
Thar Roxx: Features
In terms of features, the Thar Roxx continues to offer a solid list. It comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Other comforts include a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a cooled glovebox, six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and auto headlights and wipers.
Thar Roxx: Engine options
Under the hood, nothing has changed. The Thar Roxx is still available with two engine options — a 2.0-litre turbo petrol (mStallion) and a 2.2-litre diesel (mHawk). Both are offered with manual and automatic transmissions. The petrol variants come with rear-wheel drive, while the diesel ones offer the option of 4x4.
Thar Roxx: Price
Prices for the Mahindra Thar Roxx start at Rs 12.99 lakh and go up to Rs 23.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
