M&M launches Bolero Power+ at Rs 6.59 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra launched a new Bolero with mHawk D70 engine priced at Rs 6.59 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the SLE BS4 variant, excluding octroi and other levies.

The SUV's engine will deliver 13% more power and 5% more mileage over the existing Bolero, the company added.

The new Bolero Power+ will be available in three variants -- SLE, SLX and ZLX across Mahindra dealerships in India, it added.

Pravin Shah, President and Chief Executive (Automotive), Mahindra & Mahindra said, "The Bolero has been India's No. 1 SUV for 10 years in a row from 2005-06 to 2015-16 and the all New Bolero Power+ is an evolution of this powerful brand."

Shares of the company were trading down 2.92% to Rs 1428 per share after this announcement.
