Maruti Suzuki Price Hike Announcement: Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday, May 21, announced that it is going to increase the prices of its vehicles from next month. Effective from June 1, the carmaker will increase rates across models by up to Rs 30,000, Maruti Suzuki India said in a regulatory filing.
The company cited inflationary pressures and an unfavourable cost environment as the reason behind this price hike.
"For the past few months, the company has been making continuous efforts to mitigate the cost impact to the extent possible through cost reduction measures," it added.
