Maruti launches 2025 Grand Vitara: Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG in India, strengthening its eco-friendly lineup with added focus on safety. The SUV now comes with six airbags as standard, across both its newly introduced CNG variants: Delta and Zeta, priced at Rs 13.48 lakh and Rs 15.62 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
Enhanced safety first
In a major update, Maruti Suzuki has made six airbags standard in the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG. Other safety features include:
- Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
- Hill Hold Assist
- ABS with EBD
- Front and Rear Disc Brakes
- ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorage
Feature-Loaded Cabin
The SUV also brings in several new convenience features such as:
- 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
- Air purifier with PM2.5 display
- Wireless charging pad
- Ventilated front seats
- Rear-view camera, automatic AC, rear AC vents
- Keyless entry with engine push start/stop
- Auto-folding ORVMs, Suzuki Connect telematics
Engine & Mileage
Under the hood, the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG gets a 1.5-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine, tuned for CNG performance. It delivers:
- 87.8 PS at 5500 rpm
- 121.5 Nm torque at 4200 rpm
- Fuel efficiency: 26.6 km/kg (claimed)
Price Range & Variants
The entire Grand Vitara range is priced between Rs 11.42 lakh and Rs 20.68 lakh (ex-showroom), with multiple options:
- 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder non-hybrid
- 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder strong-hybrid
- Optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system
Market Rivals
The updated Grand Vitara S-CNG takes on Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and other compact SUVs in the mid-size segment.
