Mahindra to roll out five-door Thar SUV ROXX on Independence Day

Mahindra & Mahindra on Saturday announced the launch of a 5-door version of the Mahindra Thar SUV, called Thar ROXX, on August 15, 2024, Independence Day.

The new SUV 'Thar ROXX' is expected to have several features including a sunroof and ADAS, and was recently spotted road testing in Ladakh by Zee Business.

According to Veejay Nakra, Automotive Sector President, M&M, the SUV is designed to provide an unparalleled mix of sophistication, performance, presence, safety, and technology. "The ‘Thar ROXX’ with its distinctive design, premium quotient, advanced technology, enhanced performance, sophistication, and safety is ‘THE’ SUV," he said.

"While retaining the core attributes of the iconic Thar the ‘Thar ROXX’ represents the larger-than-life personality of a rockstar and will disrupt the SUV category,” Nakra added.
