Mahindra & Mahindra has announced pre-bookings for its new luxury SUV, the XUV 7XO, even before its official launch on January 5, 2026. The first buyers of the SUV will be able to book it by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000 at 12 pm on December 15, 2025, thus getting an early place in the delivery list.
The company is allowing customers of the XUV 7XO the option to pick their favorite dealer, power source, and type of transmission when they are making the reservation. The car will be offered in 2 different fuels i.e., gasoline and diesel with the choice of manual or automatic transmission.
Built on the success of the XUV700 — which sold over 3 lakh units in just four years — the XUV 7XO aims to raise the bar in design, technology, comfort and performance. Mahindra is positioning it as the next big benchmark in the premium SUV segment, crafted “to inspire and engineered to excite.”

These engines are likely to continue on the XUV 7XO, along with the popular AWD option. Diesel variants are expected to remain strong demand drivers.
The existing XUV700 is priced between Rs 13.65 lakh and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom), and the new model is expected to remain in a similar bracket with possible minor adjustments.
