Mahindra Scorpio Classic SUV: Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch its new Sports utility vehicle - Mahindra Scorpio Classic SUV - in India today, August 12.
Recently, the company had launched its highly-anticipated SUV - Mahindra Scorpio N in the country with an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh and received a rave response from the buyers. It is expected that the price of the Scorpio Classic SUV will be lower than the newly launched 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N.
According to the BGR.in, Mahindra has already begun shipping the updated Scorpio Classic to dealers, and in order to keep it fresh, Mahindra has made certain improvements to the Scorpio Classic.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will mostly be powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with a power output of 137bhp and 319Nm of torque. The motor will be mated to a six-speed gearbox, and there will be no automatic transmission on offer, said BGR.in.
The company's logo will be placed in the centre of the new front grille on the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Along with LED DRLs, the forthcoming SUV also gets projector headlamps and a new fog lamp housing. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic's front bumper has also been reprofiled, BGR.in reported.
