Mahindra Hikes Prices of SUVs: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a price hike across its passenger and commercial vehicle range, making its SUVs, trucks and buses costlier from July 10, 2026. The company said the increase will vary across models and has been driven by a rise in input costs. The price revision applies to both its passenger vehicle portfolio and commercial vehicles.

SUVs to see average 2.7% price hike

Mahindra said prices of its SUV range have been increased by an average of 2.7 per cent, while commercial vehicle prices have been raised by up to 2 per cent.

According to the automaker, the decision was taken in response to rising raw material costs, which have pushed up overall production expenses.

The revised prices will come into effect from July 10.

Mahindra joins list of automakers raising prices

Mahindra is the latest automobile manufacturer to announce a price revision this month. Several other automakers have also increased prices in July, citing higher raw material, commodity, logistics and manufacturing costs.

Tata Motors raised prices from July 1

Tata Motors increased prices of its passenger vehicles by up to 1.5 per cent, effective July 1, citing higher steel, aluminium and raw material costs.

The company also revised prices of its commercial vehicle range by up to 2.5 per cent, attributing the increase to rising input costs, commodity prices and manufacturing expenses.

Kia, JSW MG Motor and BMW also revise prices

Kia India raised prices across its model lineup by up to 2 per cent from July 1, saying higher raw material, supply chain and logistics costs had increased production expenses.

JSW MG Motor India announced a price hike of up to 3 per cent, citing elevated commodity prices and rising production costs.

BMW Group India also revised prices of its BMW and MINI models by up to 2 per cent. The company said higher global supply chain costs, costlier raw materials and increasing operating expenses led to the latest revision.
