Auto Expo 2025: Hyundai Creta electric launched at Rs 17.99 lakh; check details

Hyundai Creta EV: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Friday, January 17, launched the much-anticipated CRETA Electric at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 at a starting price of Rs 17.99 lakh. As per the company, the electric version of Creta will be offered in two battery pack options, catering to different customer needs and preferences.

Apart from that, the Creta EV is claimed to deliver a range of 473 km on a single charge. Also, the vehicle is capable of reaching from 0 to 10 per cent charge in just 39 minutes.

In terms of speed, the Creta EV is a powerhouse, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. The vehicle will also come equipped with advanced safety features like 17 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) Level-2.

For safety-conscious buyers, the Creta EV offers 75+ advanced safety features, with the base variant ensuring 52 such features as standard.

• Two battery pack options: 51.4kWh (Long Range) and 42kWh offering driving range of 473km and 390km respectively 
• The 51.4 kWh battery pack (long range) generates 126 kW (171 PS) of power, while the 42 kWh battery pack generates 99 kW (135 PS) of power.
• ADAS Linked regenerative braking system for enhanced safety and efficiency 
• Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)iii both inside and outside for a convenient and innovative experience 
• More than 75 advanced safety features and 52 safety features as standard across all variants
• Equipped with advanced EV capabilities, including water soak test, battery drop test, along with an IP67 rated battery pack
• Capable to accelerate 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds
• Comes with i-Pedal technology, enabling the driver to accelerate, decelerate, or come to a complete stop using only the accelerator pedal.
• Offers 22-liter frunk space, coupled with 433-liter boot space
• Can be charged from 10% to 100% in just 4 hours using the 11 kW smart connected wallbox charger (AC home charging).
