Honda launches 2025 Shine 100 at Rs 68,767 with OBD2B compliance & new colour option

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2025 Shine 100, its entry-level commuter motorcycle, at a price of Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest update makes the Shine 100 OBD2B-compliant while adding a fresh colour option. The motorcycle now costs Rs 1,867 more than the previous version.

Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, Yogesh Mathur, stated the Shine 100’s strong position in the commuter segment. "The Shine 100 has been a strong player in the entry-level motorcycle segment, offering exceptional quality and comfort at an affordable price. With this latest upgrade, we are further enhancing its appeal and ensuring compliance with the latest emission norms while maintaining its renowned fuel efficiency and reliability," he said.

2025 Honda Shine 100: What’s new?

The new model brings subtle cosmetic changes, including a revised livery on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank, and side fairing. The Honda logo no longer features the wing emblem, while the side fairing now carries the ‘Shine 100’ branding instead of just ‘Shine.’

2025 Honda Shine 100: New colour option

A new Black with Orange colour scheme has been introduced, replacing the earlier Black with Gold option. The Shine 100 continues to be available in four other colour choices: 'Black with Red', 'Black with Blue', 'Black with Gray', and 'Black with Green.'

2025 Honda Shine 100: Upgraded compliance same power

The most significant change is the OBD2B-compliant engine. Despite the upgrade, performance figures remain the same. The Shine 100 continues to be powered by a 99.98 cc, single-cylinder engine producing 7.28 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.04 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
