Ducati India launched its latest motorcycle the SuperSport in India on Friday priced at Rs 12.08 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards. The new motorcycle will be available in India in two variants, ie standard and SuperSport S.

While the base version of the Ducati SuperSport is priced at Rs 12.08 lakh, the SuperSport S is priced at Rs 13.39 lakh and Rs 13.6 lakh for the white colour variant.

The Ducati SuperSport is more suited for the highways and has a touring focus and has been elected the most beautiful bike at EICMA 2016.

It comes with a powerful Testastretta 11 L-twin engine that was first seen on the Ducati Hypermotard. The liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine dishes out a power of 110PS and 93Nm peak torque.

The Ducati SuperSport engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and is equipped with an all-digital LCD display.

Besides this, it has features such as ride-by-wire, power modes, 3-level Bosch ABS unit and an 8-level traction control system. The SuperSport S gets a fully adjustable Ohlins suspension unit at both ends, bi-directional quickshifter and a rear cowl.

The Ducati SuperSport will go up against other superbikes such as Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and Suzuki GSX-S1000F in the Indian two-wheeler market.
