BMW X7 facelift launched in India: Check price, variant, features, colours, other details of the luxury SUV

BMW X7 Launched: German automaker BMW has launched a facelift of the BMW X7 in India on Tuesday, January 17. It is an updated version of the existing X7 SUV. The price of the newly-launched facelift starts from Rs 1.22 crore.

The new BMW X7 comes in two variants - X7 xDrive40d (Diesel) and X7 xDrive40i (Petrol). Both variants of the luxury car come with M Sport package as standard.

With the official launch, the company also announced that the car is available for bookings at the BMW dealership network and through Shop.Bmw.in; while deliveries will commence from March 2023.

"The BMW X7 is a symbol of forwardism - a natural match for the uncompromising expectations of those who drive the world. It touches the highest echelons of emotional driving pleasure and exclusivity," Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, said at the launch.

"And now the new X7 offers more of everything: more presence, more luxury, more intelligence and more efficiency. It is a state-of-the-art companion for every journey. Connoisseurs immediately recognise it as the leader in its own right as it heralds a unique dimension in mobility. That is the unequivocal reason behind the immense continuing success of the X7," he added.

According to the company, the car is locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai and features split headlights, redesigned kidney grille (with optional illumination) and front apron.

BMW X7: Colours
The new BMW X7 is available in five metallic colour options - Mineral White, BMW Individual Paintwork Dravit Grey, BMW Individual Paintwork Tanzanite Blue, Black Sapphire and Carbon Black. The interiors feature the exquisite BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' upholstery in Tartufo, Ivory White and Black shades.

BMW X7: Variants, mileage, price

BMW X7 xDrive40d Variant
The X7 xDrive40d variant features TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 250 kw (340 hp) on the road. The variant is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
Price: Rs 1,24,50,000 (Ex-showroom)
Fuel consumption in km/L (combined): 14.31
CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 185

BMW X7 xDrive40i Variant
The X7 xDrive40i has TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 280 kW (381 hp) output. The variant is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
Price: Rs 1,22,00,000 (Ex-showroom)
Fuel consumption in km/L (combined): 11.29
CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 210

BMW X7 2023: Features
The luxury car is equipped with features like fully digital 12.3” instrument display, high-resolution (1920x720 pixels) 14.9” Control Display, Surround View Camera, Reversing Assistant, Fully Remote Parking via smartphone, Panorama 3-part glass roof, 15 pre-defined selectable light designs, and more. Also, it has comfortable seats wrapped in BMW Individual Extended Leather Trim Merino.

In terms of safety, the car comes with features like airbags (Airbags and Side airbags for driver and front passenger, Head airbags for 1st and 2nd seat row, and Knee airbag), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist and Automatic Differential Brake (ADB-X), Electric Parking Brake with auto hold function, Hill Descent Control and more.
