BMW M 1000 R Launched: Luxury automaker BMW on Monday, March 16, launched a new superbike – the BMW M 1000 R – in India. According to the company, the bike is positioned as a high-performance machine designed for riders who prefer aggressive styling along with premium features. The starting ex-showroom price of the BMW M 1000 R is around Rs 33.50 lakh.

• The BMW M 1000 R is equipped with new dual LED headlights, which are taken from the RR model.
• This superbike is powered by a 999cc water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine.
• This powerful engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 210 horsepower
• It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
• The bike also offers excellent top-end performance, with a claimed top speed of around 280 km/h.
• To further enhance its performance on the track, BMW has equipped the M 1000 R with a new traction control system called Dynamic Traction Control (DTC). This system helps maintain stability and control, especially in high-speed situations.
• Another feature that contributes to the bike’s performance is the M Quick Action Throttle. This technology allows for faster acceleration.
