Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 versions of its Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 motorcycles in India, packing in key upgrades in electronic systems and rider ergonomics to meet the evolving needs of touring enthusiasts. The updated Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2,38,682, while the Dominar 250 comes in at Rs 1,91,654 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
In a significant tech leap, the 2025 Dominar 400 now features Ride-by-Wire technology along with four selectable ride modes—Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. These modes enhance traction and braking behavior depending on terrain and weather. The Dominar 250, though retaining a mechanical throttle setup, also gets the benefit of four ABS-assisted ride modes.
Bajaj has also introduced a bonded glass colour LCD speedometer on both models, improving visibility and protection against weather elements. Touring-oriented enhancements include a newly designed ergonomic handlebar, updated switchgear for smoother control, and a luggage carrier with a GPS mount for navigation ease.
Launched in 2017, the Dominar series has carved out a niche for itself in India’s sports touring category. With initiatives like the Dominar Odysseys—where riders have travelled across continents—Bajaj continues to position the Dominar as a go-to machine for long-distance travel.
Despite the latest updates, Bajaj has retained the core frame and engine setup, focusing instead on technology and comfort to make the Dominar series more versatile for serious riders.
