2026 Kia Seltos Unveiled: Kia India on Wednesday, December 10 unveiled the all-new Kia Seltos in India. Positioned in the mid-SUV segment, the car comes with features like a 30-inch trinity panoramic display pane, digital tiger face, black high gloss grille with dark gunmetal accents, dual pane panoramic sunroof, ice cube LED projection headlamps, R18 (46.2 cm) sporty crystal cut alloy wheels, and Kia’s global K3 platform.

Dimensionally, the all-new Kia Seltos now measures 4,460 mm in length – the longest in the segment – ​​and has a width of 1,830 mm and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The SUV will be available in 10 mono-tone colour options — including two striking new shades in the Kia India lineup, Morning Haze and Magma Red.

While the price of the all-new Kia Seltos will be announced on January 2, 2026, interested customers can start booking the SUV from December 11 midnight for an initial amount of Rs 25,000.

Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director & CEO, Kia India, Gwanggu Lee said, "A category-defining SUV since its debut in India, the new Seltos pushes boundaries with bolder design, advanced safety and segment-leading technology that reset benchmarks."

"Engineered to outperform and optimized for real-world Indian conditions—reflecting insights from our customers and without compromising global standards—it demonstrates our ambition to lead, not follow, he added.

Design: This SUV, according to the company, offers consumers a more attractive, premium, and modern SUV design. It features a digital tiger face, black high gloss grille with dark gunmetal accents, ice cube LED projection headlamps with dynamic welcome function, star map LED DRLs with integrated turn signals, LED fog lamps and star map LED connected tail lamps.

Exterior: It gets R18 (46.2 cm) sporty crystal cut alloy wheels with neon brake callipers, an Integrated Rear Spoiler with Hidden Rear Wiper, and first-in-segment automatic streamline door handles, complemented by robust front & rear skid plates with dark gunmetal finish.

Interior: According to the official release, the SUV features a spacious cabin with a smoky black and white two-tone interior and leatherette seats, along with a 75.18 cm (30-inch) Trinity panoramic display panel. It comes with a double D-cut dual-tone leatherette-wrapped steering wheel.

Features: It comes with features like dual pane panoramic sunroof, 8 speaker Bose premium sound system, 64 colour ambient mood lighting and seamless convenience through smartphone wireless charger. For rear passengers, there are 60:40 split seats with recline adjustment, sunshade curtains, and Type-C USB charging ports on both the front and rear.

Smart Features: It also features a segment-first Smart Key proximity unlock function, enabling keyless entry with remarkable ease, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it also features the upgraded Kia Connect 2.0 suite and over-the-air software updates.

Safety: In terms of safety, the car comes with 24 standard safety packs, which include features like 6 airbags, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Rollover Sensor and Rear Occupant Alert. The ADAS Level 2 suite includes 21 autonomous safety features – including Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, among others, along with a Blind View Monitor, 360° Surround Camera and Side Parking Sensors.

Kia’s global K3 platform: The all-new Kia Seltos is built on Kia's global K3 platform – making its India debut. According to the company, the platform’s enhancements also support better ride quality and NVH performance, thereby improving comfort and stability for passengers.

Engines: The all-new Kia Seltos comes with three engine options: Smartstream G1.5 petrol (115PS, 144 Nm), Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI petrol (160PS, 253 Nm) and the 1.5-litre CRDI VGT diesel (116PS, 250 Nm).

Transmission Options: The all-new Kia Seltos offers a variety of transmission options – including 6MT, 6iMT, IVT, 7DCT and 6AT.

Trims and Variants: The lineup spans four standard trims — HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX — along with four option variants: HTE(O), HTK(O), HTX(A), GTX(A). For added distinction, the X-Line Styling Pack is exclusively offered on GTX & GTX(A).
