Volvo has introduced the latest facelift of its flagship XC90 SUV in India, priced at Rs 1.02 crore (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV comes with multiple upgrades in design and technology while retaining Volvo’s signature styling. Notably, the XC90 is one of four SUVs in the brand’s Indian portfolio, alongside the EX40, XC60, and XC40.
2025 Volvo XC90: Design updates
The 2025 XC90 gets a refreshed front fascia featuring a new grille and updated T-shaped DRLs integrated into the Matrix LED headlights. Volvo has also redesigned the front bumper, incorporating a new air dam layout.
The side profile remains largely unchanged, apart from new 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, subtle tweaks include revised taillights and a chrome-accented bumper spanning the width of the SUV. The facelifted model also introduces a new Mulberry Red color option.

Under the hood, the 2025 XC90 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers 250 hp and 360 Nm of peak torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive (AWD).
With these updates, the XC90 facelift continues to be a strong contender in India’s luxury SUV segment.
