2025 Skoda Kodiaq India Launch on April 17: Variants, features & colour options revealed

Skoda Auto is all set to introduce the 2025 Kodiaq in India on April 17. Marking its position as the company’s most premium offering in the country, the new Kodiaq will enter a competitive space and take on rivals like its German cousin, the Volkswagen Tiguan, which is set to launch today.

Ahead of the official debut, key details about the SUV’s variants, features, and colour options have been revealed.

Two Variants on Offer: Sportline and L&K

The 2025 Kodiaq is expected to be available in two trims — Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K).

Sportline: This variant will come equipped with a 12.9-inch infotainment system, a premium 13-speaker sound system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and full smartphone connectivity.

L&K: The top-spec L&K trim is expected to offer added premium touches including a 360-degree camera, drive mode selection, and a massage function for the front seats. On the safety front, the Kodiaq will offer nine airbags as standard along with ESC, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Interestingly, the SUV will not be equipped with ADAS features.

Seven Exterior Colour Options

The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq will be offered in seven colour choices, catering to a wide range of aesthetic preferences:

• Race Blue Metallic
• Graphite Grey Metallic
• Magic Black Metallic
• Moon White Metallic
• Bronx Gold Metallic
• Steel Grey

Powertrain and Performance

The 2025 Kodiaq is expected to house a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The updated powertrain delivers more power than the previous generation and features all-wheel drive as standard. Skoda also claims a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl for the new Kodiaq.

With the launch just around the corner, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq promises to be a feature-packed, premium SUV designed to take on the growing competition in the D-segment space.
