2025 Honda Rebel 500 launched at Rs 5.12 lakh; bookings open, deliveries begin from this date

Honda Rebel 500 Bookings Open: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter on Monday, May 19 launched the much-awaited Rebel 500 in India. With the launch, the company has also started booking for this new cruiser motorcycle at select BigWing topline dealerships. According to the company, the Rebel 500 blends timeless design with modern engineering, offering a unique ride experience for Indian motorcycling enthusiasts.

Announcing the launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, "We are delighted to introduce the globally acclaimed Rebel 500 in India. This much-anticipated cruiser motorcycle has received tremendous response across international markets, and we are confident it will appeal to Indian riders as well."

In India, the motorcycle is available only in the Standard variant and is painted in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic colour with seats for both the rider and pillion. Equipped with the signature steeply raked fuel tank and fat handlebars, the Rebel 500 also gets full LED lighting with a distinctive round headlight.

The bike is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine that produces 34kWof maximum power at 8,500 RPM and 43.3 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. This powertrain is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and braking duties are handled by a 296mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.

Dunlop tyres are fitted as standard with 130/90-16 front and 150/80-16 rear wheels. In terms of features, the Rebel 500 comes equipped with an inverted LCD display.

The All-New 2025 Honda Rebel 500 has been priced at Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram, Haryana). It will be available exclusively through BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Bookings are open with deliveries commencing from June 2025 onwards.
