Maruti Suzuki clocks 74% jump in production of Brezza, Ertiga, Jimny, XL6, other utility vehicles in May 

Maruti Suzuki India, the country's largest carmaker, reports total production of 70,831 utility vehicles in May 2024, as against 40,794 units in May 2023. 

The auto major's UV segment includes the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx and Jimny models.

MG Motor India registers wholesales of 4,769 units in May 2024 as against 5,006 units in May 2023.

The auto maker says it has received positive traction for its EVs in May.

Auto Sales May 2024 LIVE: Mahindra & Mahindra passenger vehicle sales jump 31% 

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) registers passenger vehicle sales - comprising utility vehicles, cars and vans - of 43,218 units in May 2024, as against 32,886 units in May 2023. 

Auto Sales Data: In April, two-wheeler makers staged a strong show

Hero MotoCo registered growth of 35 per cent in total sales while its exports more than doubled in April.  

Bajaj Auto's total sales increased 17 per cent and exports 18 per cent. 

TVS Motor Company clocked a 25 per cent jump in total sales with 12 per cent growth in exports. 

Royal Enfield registered a 12 per cent increase in total sales to 81,870 units.

Maruti Suzuki logged third straight month of lower sales 

Its total sales grew about five per cent to 1,68,089 units but fell short of analaysts' expectations. According to Zee Business research, the carmaker was estimated to register total sales of 1,73,500 units.

Tata Motors staged a mixed performance; CVs beat but PVs missed expectations

Its total commercial vehicle sales grew 31 per cent to 29,358 units as against Zee Business analysts' estimate of 24,430 units. Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 47,983 units, lower than the estimate of 51,170 units. 

Auto Sales May 2024: TVS Motor Company likely to log 17% jump in monthly two-wheeler sales

TVS Motor Company is estimated to register total two-wheeler sales of 3,74,500 units in May 2024 as against 3,19,295 units a year ago, according to Zee Business research. 

Auto Sales May 2024: Bajaj Auto two-wheeler sales seen growing 4%

Bajaj Auto is expected to register total two-wheeler sales of 3,20,000 units in May 2024, according to Zee Business research. 

Bajaj Auto had logged total two-wheeler sales of 3,07,696 units in the corresponding period last year.

Auto Sales May 2024: Hero MotoCorp total sales estimated to remain unchanged YoY 

Hero MotoCorp is likely to register total sales of 5,20,000 motorcycles and scooters in May 2024, almost unchanged from 5,19,474 units a year ago, according to Zee Business research.

Out of the total sales in May 2023, 5,08,309 units were sold in the domestic market.

Auto Sales May 2024: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) likely to clock 233% jump in total sales

Mahindra & Mahindra is likely to register total sales - comprising domestic sales as well as exports - of 75,550 passenger and commercial vehicles in May 2024.

The auto major's overall domestic sales and exports had stood at 61,415 units in May 2023, including domestic sales of 32,886 passenger vehicles.

Tata Motors is expected to register total passenger vehicle sales of 50,000 units (including electric vehicles) in May 2024, as against 45,984 units in the corresponding period a year ago, according to Zee Business research.

Maruti Suzuki India is estimated to register total sales of 1,78,000 units in the domestic as well as foreign markets in May 2024, largely unchanged from the corresponding month a year ago, according to Zee Business research.
