Select base metals, including copper utensils, brass sheet cuttings, zinc, lead, tin and nickel declined at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from industrial users.
While, copper cable scrap, copper billets, brass utensils gained further owing to rising demand from consuming industries.
Tin slipped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,390 from Tuesday's close Rs 1,400 and zinc slid by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 234 as against Rs 240 yesterday.
Nickel dipped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 770 as compared Rs 775 and copper utensils slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 390 from Rs 394.
Lead softened by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 160 as compared yesterday's close Rs 162 and brass sheet cuttings inched down to Rs 326.
However, copper cable scrap, copper billets and brass utensils scrap inched up per kg each to Rs 445, Rs 473 and Rs 326 respectively.
