Refined soya oil futures rose by 0.52 per cent to Rs 678.10 per 10 kg on speculative buying triggered by rising demand at spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October month rose by Rs 3.50, or 0.52 per cent to Rs 678.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 47,960 lots.
The oil for delivery in November gained Rs 2.75, or 0.41 per cent to Rs 678.40 per 10 kg in 24,250 lots.
Marketmen said rising demand at spot market amid restricted supplies from producing regions lifted the refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
