State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) said it organised a cleanliness drive across the country on Monday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti in line with the government's campaign of 'Swachhata Hi Seva'.
Led by the bank's Managing Director Sunil Mehta, officials participated in a cleanliness drive around a Metro station in Delhi, PNB said in a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehta said, "Swachhata should be adopted not only in office work spaces but also in the thoughts and deeds while initiating our reach with the industry."
Reliance Commodities launches commodity trading app *Reliance Commodities today said it has launched a commodity trading application which will help investors in taking informed trading decisions.
The platform, available both on the web and mobile, will assist traders in capitalising opportunities swiftly, besides empowering them with detailed understanding of commodity markets, the company said in a statement.
It will enable traders analyse commodities based on seasonality by uncovering certain hidden patterns. The traders can tap opportunities by analysing spreads between two futures contracts.
SSP Group to enter India with three brands *SSP Group plc, a UK-based operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, is entering India through a franchise deal with World Iconic Brand (WIB) hospitality.
The group, which operates in over 30 countries, would introduce its three brands -- coffee shop Ritazza, Upper Crust bakery and Millie's Cookies, the companies said in a joint statement.
WIB, a subsidiary of Franchise India, has taken the master franchise rights of the three brands in India and plans to open around 225 stores.
SSP Group Commercial Director Sukh Tiwana said: "With the continued growth in the Indian market, we were keen to establish a partner that...had experience of franchising."
