Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg at the dry fruits market in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Furthermore, fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 1,085-1,095, Rs 960-990 Rs 930-945 and Rs 835-845 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing regions, mainly pushed up cashew prices.
