Ambassadors seek investment opportunities in Rajasthan

Ambassadors of nine countries reached here today on a three-day visit to explore investment opportunities and for strengthening cultural ties with the state, an official said.

Delegates are keen to understand the industrial scenario in the state and explore possibilities for collaborations and investment.

Enhancing cultural engagements with these countries will also be on the agenda, Industries and Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) commissioner Krishna Kunal said.

Ambassadors of nine countries including Sweden, Turkey, Ireland, Algeria, Malta, Azerbaijan, Niger and Iraq reached here today.

The delegation will hold a high-level meeting with top government officials presided by the chief secretary of the state on June 27. The delegation will visit Mahindra World City, Jaipur and will meet Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on June 28.

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the delegates, he added.
