Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) is developing high-resolution imagery satellites for the Indian military. These satellites will be able to provide images with resolutions as high as one meter, which is good enough to distinguish between individual vehicles and people. The satellites will be used for a variety of military applications, including surveillance, reconnaissance, and target identification, helping India to better monitor its borders and deter potential threats. The satellites will also be used for disaster management and other civilian applications.
