Amazon, Flipkart sell Google Pixel XL at 26% discount; is it worth a buy?
- Google Pixel XL 32GB is being sold for Rs 18000 discount on Amazon and Flipkart.
- Amazon is providing a 27% discount on the phone.
- Flipkart is offering other deals apart from its 'flat discount.'
E-commerce websites Amazon India and Flipkart with their Independence Day sales have put up for sale the Google Pixel XL at a 26% discount.
In Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale, the company is offering the smartphone at a ‘flat Rs 18001 off.’ Google Pixel XL 32GB Quite Black variant is being sold for Rs 48999, down from Rs 67000, the company said.
EMI on the phone starts at Rs 1675 per month, the company said.
In addition, Flipkart is offering customers Rs 15600 off on ‘Buy with Exchange.’ Although the full discount is available only on recently released phones.
On exchange of the Apple iPhone 6s Plus, Flipkart will give customers Rs 9650 off on purchase of the Google Pixel. While trading in an old OnePlus 3T will garner the phone for Rs 9750 cheaper.
‘Bank offer’ on the phone is also available with Flipkart giving customers of Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards a 5% discount. And another 10% ‘Instant Discount’ for HDFC Debit and Credit Card holders.
On Amazon’s Great Indian Sale, the same variant of the Google Pixel XL is available for Rs 50 cheaper than on Flipkart.
Amazon is selling the smartphone at a 27% discount for Rs 48,950 bringing the price down by Rs 18050, the company said. This price the company said is inclusive of all taxes.
EMI on the phone start at Rs 2327, the company said.
Amazon has also put up a ‘With Exchange’ offer on the Google Pixel XL with up to Rs 10,000 off on exchange of an old phone.
Customers will be offered Rs 8000 off on exchange of an Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Rs 7500 off on exchange of a OnePlus 3T, the company said. Many other brands are also available on Amazon and Flipkart’s buy with exchange offer.
Google Pixel XL specs
The smartphone which was released in India last October has a 2.3 megapixel primary camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), laser detection autofocus (LDAF),4K (30 fps) video capture, HD 240 fps (8x) and full HD 120 fps (4x) slow motion video, CRI-90 dual-LED flash and 8MP front facing camera.
The phone has a 13.97 centimetres (5.5-inch) AMOLED display and 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution with 534 ppi pixel density.
It operates on Android v7.1 Nougat operating system with 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad core processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and single nano SIM.
And packs a 3450 mAH lithium-ion battery providing talk-time of 32 hours, the company said.
