Mukta Arts stock rises nearly 11%
After Mukta Arts' announced on Monday that its Whistling Woods Institute (WWI) has partnered with Sony Media Techology Centre to relaunch the upgrades of its broadcast facility, its stock surged nearly 11% in the morning trade on the BSE.
The stock of company rose up by 10.9% to the high of Rs 131.10 in the morning trade on the exchange.
Whistling Woods Institute (WWI) is a film, communication and media arts institute founded and chaired by Hindi film maker Subhash Ghai and is located in Mumbai. Ghai inaugurated the fully revamped Sony Media Technology Centre at the Whistling Woods Institute (WWI) in the city.
The upgrades to the facility at the institute include launching of new 4K high speed HDR cameras for film and broadcast, the F55 upgrades and the HDC4300 brand new broadcast camera.
"Whistling Woods Institute (WWI) students as well as the professional directors and cinematographers from sports and film industry will receive training in 4K HDR high speed filmmaking and live 4K broadcast," Mukta Arts said in a filing to the BSE on Monday.
The same will be instrumental in upgrading the quality of Indian films and sports broadcast, it added.
At 12:42 hours, the stock of Mukta Arts was trading up 7.78% or Rs 9.20 at Rs 127.45 on the BSE.
