HDFC, HDFC Bank, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, TCS in focus today
HDFC has approved the sale of 100% of its equity share capital of HDFC Developers and HDFC Realty to Quikr India for Rs 101.99 cr and Rs254.98 cr, respectively. The stock is trading flat after hitting the day's high of 1715.85 on the NSE.
Index heavyweights HDFC Bank, HDFC, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, YES Bank, ITC and Reliance Industries led the rally in the Indian indices today, as Sensex opened at 33768.47 points.
On the BSE, 1349 stocks advanced, 442 stocks declined and 68 remained unchanged.
In the Nifty index, 35 stocks advanced, 14 declined and 1 remained unchanged.
