Dust storm in Delhi delays flights; IMD predicts more rain, thundershowers in North India
After the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted dust storm, rain and thunder in Delhi and NCR, the capital was hit by a powerful thunderstorm with wind speeds of 50-70 kmph on Monday night. This caused several flights to be delayed in Delhi. Power was cut and trees uprooted in several areas across the city.
