A total of 600,000 students took the Odisha Class 10 examination, held between February 23 and March 8, organised by Odisha's Cuttack based Board of Secondary Education (BSE). In 2017, the BSE Odisha Class 10 results were released on April 26, wherein, students came out with flying colours with a pass percentage of 85.28. As usual, girls (2,55,0510) outperformed the boys (2,47,948) in the results. Last year, the Odisha Board Secondary Exam started on February 28 and all the papers were concluded on March 10.
